So Much Manga! (no seriously, there's really a lot)

Hi guys! :)
If you've been reading my posts, you probably know that I really, really love manga and anime (...mostly manga though). I've posted a few manga reviews here and there, but I never really posted anything that was just about manga, so I thought that I would today.
First off, I'm going to share some of the kinds of manga that I like to read.
Usually, I read shoujo (I am a girl, so... O.O) which is manga targeting girls age 10-18 or so. The main character are usually (not always)girls because shoujo manga target girls.
I also like to read shounen too, which targets boys around the ages of 10-18. Sometimes, I just get tired of all the girly-ness and sparkly-ness of shoujo manga, and prefer manga with more fighting and comedy, so that's why I read this too. The protagonists of shounen mangas are usually male (but not always).
I also read stuff with lots of comedy and romance. ^^

I read so, so, so much manga, that many times I forget their names, and only remember the plots and characters. Here are a few of my favorites (ones with a lot of chapters that finished or are still continuing) along with short summaries :) (Of course, the first three are the Big Three)

Whew! Finally done! -.- (I think that took like...two hours) Now that I've typed down them all, I realized that I read a lot of manga about delinquents, spirits, taking care of kids, and the death/disappearance of relatives (usually parents). O.O

Well, I've abandomed a whole lot of manga too.
For example, I stopped reading One Piece after the two year timeskip, but I continued reading it recently. I also abandoned Reborn! after the first chapter (I also continued reading it after my brother kept annoying me to -.-).
Others include Oresama Teacher (read the first 10 chapters or so, stopped, and then continued recently), Gakuen Babysitters (after the first chapters or so, then continued), Usotsuki Lily (after first chapter, then continued), The World Only God Knows (abandoned), Dengeki Daisy (first chapter, then continued), Faster than a Kiss (first chapter, then finished)

Anyways, my point is that you should probably read the first couple of chapters (like 10) before abandoning a manga, unless you really, really, REALLY, don't like it. Otherwise, you're probably going to have to reread it if you end up liking it.

I think I've typed plenty enough now, so I'm going to stop.
Until next time then! :D

P.S. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! :D Yes! I finally remembered a holiday!!!
