SAO Ep. 10 "Crimson Killing Intent" Review

*Warning: This post contains SPOILERS. If you do not want to be spoiled, DO NOT READ THIS POST
....I warned you... O.O*

Hi and welcome to the review fro episode 10 of Sword Art Online, "Crimson Killing Intent"!

In the last episode Kirito accepts the duel with Heathcliff, leader of the Knights of the Blood. Many players go to watch the fight between the only two known players with Unique Skills. The two battle using the First Strike rule, which declares the winner to be the person who lands the first blow.
As soon as the battle starts, Kirito uses his Dual Blades, which allows him to use two one-handed swords, and Heathcliff uses his Unique Skill, the Holy Sword, which allows him to freely switch between offense and defense (it gives him an extremely high defense)

Heh. Look at Kirito's face. :D I think his face always looks like that in battles.

At one point, Kirito manages to knock Heathcliff's shield to the side and goes for the final blow, but Heathcliff moves his shield at an impossible speed to block it and hits Kirito, winning the duel.
As promised, Kirito joins the KoB. He talks with Asuna about why he hadn't joined any guilds up until then, explaining what happened with the Black Cats of the Full Moon (See Episode 3). Then, Godfree comes in saying that he had to test Kirito to see his skills.
Despite Asuna's objections, Kirito agrees. Later he is surprised that Kuradeel was joining them and even more so by his apology. Godfree then collects Kirito's and Kuradeel's crystals, saying that it was a part of the test.

*cough, cough, rapeface, cough*
Kuradeel stabs Godfree or Kirito...I forgot which one.

After some time, the group stops to rest and eat. As the food is distributed Kirito senses something fishy. He and Godfree both drink the water they were given and become paralyzed, confirming Kirito's. Then, Kuradeel reveals that he was the one who paralyzed the two and stabs Godfree to death. He also reveals that his plan of revenge on Kirito and that he was part of the player-killing red guild, the Laughing Coffin. He then proceeds to stab Kirito and almost succeeds in killing him. However, Asuna rushes in just in time to save him.
Just before she actually lands a blow on Kuradeel, he begs for forgiveness, and Asuna turns to help Kirito.
Kuradeel then uses the chance to attack, which is blocked by Kirito (his hand is cut off though...O.O). Kirito then kills Kuradeel (he doesn't become a red player because he killed an orange player).
Asuna starts to blame herself for allowing the situation where Kirito had to kill another player, and Kirito kisses and hugs. :3

*fangirl!* *spazz*

He then tells her that his life belongs to her and that he wanted to spend the night with her. The two go to Asuna's house and eat dinner. Then, Asuna turns off the lights and undresses, greatly surprising Kirito. Kirito then tells her that she had misunderstood when he said that he wanted to spend the night after her. Embarassed, Asuna punches Kirito, and we skip to the next scene.
Later, Kirito says that they should move to a secluded house on the 22nd floor, and proposes to Asuna, to which she says "Yes". (Awww..... :3)

I think that this is one of my more favorite episodes :)
Because of the ending of course. I mean, Asuna and Kirito finally get together! FINALLY!!!!!
I've been waiting for this part for so long ^^

Anyways, I hope you'll join me for the review of episode 11 of SAO next time (I really like that episode. It's a bit sad though...:( )!!! Bye! :D
