My Three Rules for Life:
1. Always try your best. Put your utmost effort into everything you do, even if it seems unimportant.
2.When the stress builds up, take a break and stop.
3. Laugh and Smile.

Hey everyone!
Sorry, I haven't posted in a while (....actually, now that I think about it, it's only been around 2 days. But still...). I will have less time on the computer than I did before for the rest of the summer because I have more things that I have to do. I will still try to post every now and then though.
First of all, (and I had originally planned to say this after "Life's Camera" (Is that how you properly title a blog....I know that you italicize book names and put poems in quotes, but what about blogs..... hmmmmm.... O.o ) gets to its 1st birthday/anniversary, but it seems that I just can't wait!) I wanted to say thank you to the few people who have read my blog. As I have said, this blog is my very first. I was very nervous about how things would turn out and if any people would read my blog. I am very thankful to those who have read this and hope that you will continue to do this. Really, I'm extremely thankful.
Anyways, today I will talk about this wonderful site that I use for baking recipes. Its called "Joy of Baking.com" (http://www.joyofbaking.com/) and is made by Stephanie Jaworski. This woman makes all kinds of baked things on her site. There's pie, fruit tarts, muffins, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, bread, and much more! She also has a Youtube channel for how to make some of the recipes (It's connected to "Joy of Baking.com") and both comfort and healthy bakes. I just love her recipes! I've made the pumpkin pie before and it was absolutely delicious!!!
You guys should all try it! Well then, next time! :D

Last night, I was thinking about my blog, and now I think that instead of a journal, this blog will be a place for me to post things I like (videos, pictures, etc.) and a place where I will write about some topics.

Today, I'm going to write about what I think of the world today, which is, "corrupt, but there are people who are trying to help".
I think that today's world is corrupt because there are so many wars, and people dying, liars, and people who have become bad, evil, dangerous, and especially greedy. Some leaders want power, authority, and control and so drag their people into everything.
Of course, many people are trying to improve the world. Some create programs that help with certain diseases or save animals. Others volunteer in such programs or donate money to help certain projects.
If we all try to help out in any way we can, we can make this world a better place.

Well, later this summer, I think I will talk about things like being vegan (I am not a vegetarian; I'm just talking  about if one would become a vegan), about, bullying, and discrimination/stereotyping. Well....next time - . -

I like to draw and create, so I posted these three pictures of my drawings and painting.

Sorry, its sideways...
This is just a picture of a Manga girl I drew. Originally, I was going to give it to a friend, but I just felt that it was one of the best things I've ever drawn (that was manga) and just had to keep it. Don't worry, I still drew something for my friend. :)

This next one I drew in an art class. We were supposed to draw something steampunk-ish ("steampunk" is kind of hard to explain. Its a literary genre and time period near the Victorian Era when people wore dark clothes, goggles (men), boots (women) and when there was a bunch of steam powered things).
I came up with a mechanical heart that was also a clock. the funnels popping up near the outside edges are based on where the veins and arteries of a real human heart.(They were originally cut electrical wires, but I changed it when I remembered everything was steam powered)
The clock and mechanical part of the heart is based on the thought that everything has a time limit and will someday break down. As for the heart, I had to choose something "soft and fluffy" and Victorian-like, so that's what I went with.

This one I also drew in a art class. We had to either draw an underwater scene or a forest scene with at least 12 animals and using a couple of techniques. Obviously, I chose the underwater scene. This is actually my 2nd final draft/painting because I forgot to use one of the techniques on my first one. This one also has less creatures on it. I had originally planned to have some clams/oysters near the top left corner where there is nothing on the rock and some barnacles on rocks everywhere. I forgot to paint the little suckers on the octopus too. There was going to be more of the school of blue fish, jellyfish, squid (top right corner; covered by seaweed),  one more little puffy fish (that was not puffed up) by the clown fish, and a little small sea turtle next to the big one. Ah, oh well. It turned out pretty well. I only regret making the bubbles weird.

The three pictures below are just pictures that I felt like taking.

This is a picture of my journal and a pencil. I'm not really sure exactly why I took this. I just felt like I should take it......during that time.

This one, I took because it reminded me of how much we waste things.
Someone in my art class put an excessive amount of paint only to barely use it and throw it away (we were using watercolors too, so the amount of blue and red he put on is about 5 times more than needed).
I thought that it looked like a person frowning, or like the paints were sad because they were being wasted. Something like that.

This last one I took because...exactly why did I take it again?
Anyways, I actually took this at a diagonal angle. The light is coming from the sun through a window at the top right corner, and the dog toy/ball is placed on a tile.
GYAAHHH!!!! I'm so EXCITED!!! ~♪
I finally know how to make symbols!!!
A long time ago, I knew how to make them on the keyboard with the alt key, but I forgot how... - . -;
So, I looked up how to on the internet (yep, you can find practically anything on there) and I found out how!
Now I'm going to tell you guys how (on a Microsoft Windows computer, which I have)!!!
First, Click the Start button. Then, press All Programs and then Accessories. Finally, click System Tools and then the Character Map!!!
The  Character Map not only has these symbols, but it also has all the letters and different fonts too.

BRRR!!!! It's kind of cold (OK, I exaggerated with the "BRRR!!!!" part), even though it is summer and hot here. O.o
Right now, I'm finishing up my essay due tomorrow at my summer school. Then, I'll have nothing to worry about because tomorrow is my last day of summer school!!! :D
Also, I wanted you guys to see an Ellen video. In case you don't know, Ellen DeGeneres, is the host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Yeah, I know. It's kind of self-explanatory - . -) or the Ellen Show. I really respect her-- she's one of my role models. Anyways, this is a little video of Taylor Swift and Zac Efron who were on the show and sang a little song they wrote that goes only with Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks"!

My grandparents who were visiting this summer are leaving to our cousins' house now!!! They live in Seattle, where I have never been before. O.o
My grandparents (from my dad's side) come back about once a year from Taiwan.
I usually go back to Taiwan once a year to visit my other grandparents (mom's side), but this year, I can't because the air plane tickets are so expensive -.-; I'm really sad about that actually.
I love Taiwan so much! There is delicious food, nice relatives, and awesome games (like those claw-crane, toy-grabbing games)!!! I really like the snacks they make there, called eggettes or something. I really like it when they have cream in them, but then I think they're not called eggettes anymore. Still, they're delicious!!! ^.^

My teacher once asked the class about a certain topic: Do we learn from war? (I believe he started talking about it and mentioned about a really smart Indian man who some thought was the true Messiah. I can't remember his name :'( )
This is my own answer:

Ultimately, NO.
Although we do learn how to make bigger, badder, and more dangerous weapons, that is for the sake of creating more battles, conflicts, and war.
If we learned from war, there probably wouldn't be any more wars. Do you get what I mean?
If we did learn that war is bad and dangerous and...unhelpful, there would be world peace.
Apparently, there are some people out there who want more power, land, and control, etc. -.-

Which leads to my next topic: How should one decide when a cause is worth fighting for? (Got this idea as an assigned essay topic)
They don't decide. ALL causes are (automatically) worth fighting for, because it is only human to fight for things that are important to a person or people.
Sure, some of those causes could be meaningless/stupid/worthless/unhelpful-to-the-world, but it is still a cause that a person believes in.

Weellll then.
Now I need to finish my essay about the second topic I just wrote about . ____ .

Ta ta for now! (what does that even mean? I've heard of it somewhere, but I can't remember where. Pooh bear??? )
Woke up this morning.
My pillow was halfway across the room...

weird O.o

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!!!

I had planned to post at least once everyday as a goal, but I guess that I've already failed -.-
Anyways, here are two videos of two songs that I fell in love with at first sight.
They are  Rascal Flatt's "What Hurts the Most" and Taylor Swift's "Mary's Song"!

The "Mary's Song" video isn't the Official Music Video, but I think that it's pretty well made ^.^

You may want to know why in the world I created a blog. Well, actually, I hadn't thought about it until a couple days earlier.
I got some encouragement (not directed individually to me, if you get what I mean) from a teacher. He said that you (people) should start a blog and that it was quite fun.
Well, I think that's the main reason why. But then again, this is really fun ^.^

As I have said before, I love music (especially modern music).I just wanted to share some artists that I really like.

First off, Christina Gimmie.
She sings on Youtube, but  she also has an album called " Find Me"(also the name of the song that she is singing in the video) and another album coming out sometime soon if I remember correctly.
She has sung with Sam Tsui, Alex Goot, and  Tyler Ward before!
I think that she is really talented and pretty! ^.^

Next is the group of singing sisters, CIMORELLI.
They sing acapella (sometimes, they use instruments)and are signed.
This video is of their original song called "Million Bucks".
Apparently, they are all blood-related, real sisters....I think they also have other brothers so that's a really big family O.O

Well, I said that I'd share some artists, but I'm kind of tired now, so I won't post anymore -.-
Although before I leave, I will say that I like Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Selena Gomez, Owl City, and One Republic, among others. :D

Well, first of all, I have these pictures that I would like to share. I took them a couple months ago. Hope you think they are good!!! :)

Do not be
FOOLED!!!

Same Dandelion!

>.>
<.<

Purple Flower I saw by the road while walking home!

Pink flower blossoms!!!
I think they're are from plum trees...not really sure O.o

In this pictures, I just threw my dog's squeaky toy into the air and took a picture of it with high flash (whatever you call it) against the ceiling.
....long explanation....kinda .___.
Hello! My name is Isabelle. This is my very first blog, and I am very happy and excited to see how it turns out! :D
I enjoy drawing, reading, taking pictures, listening to modern music (occasionally, I sing, but I don't think that I'm very good at it -.-; ), cooking/baking, and doing other artistic things, like ceramics, painting, sewing, etc. I play the piano, am in love with manga, and play video games (but not.... excessively)! ^.^
On this blog, I think I will post pictures that I take and maybe even poems or something. Right now, I think that this blog will be something like my journal.
I'm really excited about this new project, and hope that it will turn out well.
